Dress Code: Polo/Khaki's with tennis shoes.
Work Hours/Schedule: Football practice on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with gamedays on Saturday, including road games.
Primary purpose of position: Set up and operate new camera systems for coaching staff.
Duties and responsibilities: Customer Service: Provide first-level technical support to faculty, staff, and students via phone, email, and in-person. Respond promptly to service requests and ensure efficient resolution of issues. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by actively listening to and addressing user concerns and needs. Communicate effectively with users, providing clear instructions and explanations. Self-starter, works with little supervision or direction. Reporting: Analyze trends in service requests to identify recurring issues and recommend solutions. Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and software licenses. Technical Responsibilities: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting operating systems, applications, and network problems. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, and software. Provide local account management, including instructing users on password resets and potentially maintaining some access permissions. Support athletic technology and audio-visual equipment, ensuring functionality for practices and competition. Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.

Physical: Must be able to perform the following: talking, hearing, and seeing. Must have sufficient manual dexterity to be able to operate all office equipment including, but not limited to computers, printers, copiers, scanners, and telephones. Must be confident to climb ladders to attach cameras to goal posts, press boxes, and other high places. Confidentiality: Individuals must recognize that management of data, including personal information, grades, budgets, programs, and policies is necessary to the operation of the College. Such information must be kept private and confidential for the protection of the College and to obey Federal and/or State laws. Mental: Must be able to reason, analyze, prioritize, conceptualize, make judgments, and solve problems.
Education Requirements/Experience: HS Diploma Experience: A genuine interest in athletics and use of technology to gain a competitive edge. Interest in developing computer skills, including networking, mobile device management, and systems operation. Skills in maintaining accurate records of IT assets, licenses, and user accounts. Skill/Abilities: Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to networks, cameras, microphones, and mobile devices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a diverse user base, including students, coaches, and staff. Patience and empathy in handling user concerns and providing support. Strong analytical skills to diagnose problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. Resourcefulness in finding and utilizing available resources to resolve technical issues. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail in documenting service requests and maintaining records. Time management skills to ensure timely resolution of issues and completion of tasks. Ability to complete work for home games and away games, traveling to members of the Presidents Athletic Conference and tournament locations. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, sharing knowledge and assisting colleagues. Ability to climb ladders to attach cameras and microphones to goal posts, press boxes, and other high places. Experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques. Openness to experimenting with new technologies and approaches.
