General Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Prevent, evaluate, treat, manage, and rehabilitate injuries related to Academy varsity Athletics
• Perform administrative athletic training duties, including, but not limited to, documentation and recordkeeping.
• Coordinate with medical doctors, MMA Health Services, and other allied health
• professionals to provide comprehensive care to student-athletes.
• Assist with planning and scheduling medical coverage for home and away athletic events.
• Support the development and supervision of weight training programs for varsity teams.
• Supervise, educate, and help recruit graduate assistants and/or student athletic trainers.
• Provide First Aid/CPR/AED instruction to staff and students as needed.
• Assist with scheduling practice fields for athletic programs and external groups.
• Serve as a Clery Campus Security Authority (GSA).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization.
• Professional experience in a collegiate or university athletic program.
• Certification by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).
• Licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Certified in First Aid/CPR/AED
• Knowledge of and compliance with NCAA rules and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in strength and conditioning (e.g., CSCS or equivalent).
• Master's degree in athletic training, kinesiology, or a related field.
• Experience with SportsWare or similar athletic training documentation software.

Salary

$62,000- $67,000
