General Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Prevent, evaluate, treat, manage, and rehabilitate injuries related to Academy varsity Athletics
Perform administrative athletic training duties, including, but not limited to, documentation and recordkeeping.
Coordinate with medical doctors, MMA Health Services, and other allied health
professionals to provide comprehensive care to student-athletes.
Assist with planning and scheduling medical coverage for home and away athletic events.
Support the development and supervision of weight training programs for varsity teams.
Supervise, educate, and help recruit graduate assistants and/or student athletic trainers.
Provide First Aid/CPR/AED instruction to staff and students as needed.
Assist with scheduling practice fields for athletic programs and external groups.
Serve as a Clery Campus Security Authority (GSA).
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization.
Professional experience in a collegiate or university athletic program.
Certification by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).
Licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Certified in First Aid/CPR/AED
Knowledge of and compliance with NCAA rules and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in strength and conditioning (e.g., CSCS or equivalent).
Master's degree in athletic training, kinesiology, or a related field.
Experience with SportsWare or similar athletic training documentation software.
Salary
$62,000- $67,000
