Position Summary: The United States Sports University is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant to assist in the design, implementation, and supervision of strength and conditioning programs for Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Cross Country, and Track & Field (Throwers). This position is an excellent opportunity for a graduate student seeking hands-on experience in collegiate sport performance while pursuing an advanced degree.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive strength and conditioning programs tailored to Soccer, Cross Country, and Track & Field (Throwers). Conduct sport-specific training sessions, ensuring proper technique, safety, and progress monitoring. Provide individualized and group instruction to student-athletes to enhance athletic performance. Collaborate with coaches and sports medicine staff to support injury prevention, rehabilitation, and return-to-play programs. Maintain accurate records of athlete progress, including strength, conditioning, and performance data. Supervise and mentor student-athletes during workouts. Assist with the maintenance, cleaning, and organization of weight room facilities and equipment. Promote a culture of discipline, accountability, and respect within the athletic program.

Additional duties as assigned by Head Strength & Conditioning Coach. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Management, or a related field. Current enrollment or acceptance into a relevant graduate program at the United States Sports University. Certification or eligibility for certification by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CSCS). CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, biomechanics, and sport-specific training techniques. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Benefits:
