Work with the Assistant Vice President and Director, Athletics and Head Athletic trainer in conjunction for strength training and conditioning programs for teams within the Athletic Department.
Design and implement strength training and conditioning programs for selected athletic teams

Strength and Conditioning Coach Duties and Responsibilities
Work with the Assistant Vice President and Director, Athletics and Head Athletic trainer in conjunction for strength training and conditioning programs for teams within the Athletic Department.
Design and implement strength training and conditioning programs for selected athletic teams
Develop and oversee the scheduling of programs for team training in order to maximize supervision and participation.
Develop systems for tracking student-athlete attendance and progress in conjunction with their sport and coaches.
Educate coaches on the policies and procedures for strength and conditioning programming.
Provide detailed fitness center/strength and conditioning reports to Assistant Vice President and Director, Athletics biannually.
Work in conjunction with the Fitness Center Manager to supervise and oversee the daily operations of the Fitness Center
Bachelor’s degree plus one to two years of effective experience. Must hold a current strength and conditioning certification recognized by the NCAA (NSCA-CSCS preferred). Certification in CPR, AED and first aid and plus. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be available to work evenings and weekends as needed. The successful candidate will be able to handle confidential/sensitive information, have excellent communication skills, be attentive to details, able to prioritize and build effective relationships across the institution.
