Job Summary

The Athletics Department at the University of Colorado Boulder is hiring a part-time Structural Trades Assistant! This position assists in the setup and breakdown of Colorado Buffaloes events, including for the upcoming football season. This is a temporary position, working part-time on an as-needed schedule determined by event scheduling. This position will work outdoors in all types of weather, and the role requires physical activity and heavy lifting.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

• Assist with stadium set up and breakdown.
• Chair and table distribution.
• As needed light plumbing and light electrical.

What You Should Know

• This is a temporary, part-time position.
• This position does not have a set schedule and will work as needed on football gamedays and/or concerts.

What We Can Offer

• The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 per hour.

Benefits

Temporary positions at the University of Colorado are not benefits-eligible, however, all positions are eligible for paid sick leave.

What We Require

• 2 or more years in Structural Trades and/or Electrical Trades.

What You Will Need

• Problem solving in a hurried environment.

What We Would Like You to Have

• Previous sporting events/concert set up and breakdown.
• Experience with plumbing and electrical.
• Gaffing experience desired.
