Job Summary

The Athletics Sports Information Student Assistant is primarily responsible for providing basic knowledge of PC’s and camera use, understanding of streaming equipment, ability to problem solve, people and phone skills to resolve streaming issues over the phone, ability to work inside and outside during athletic competitions. Responsible for demonstrating LSSC’s values of Caring, Communicating, Collaborating and Celebrating.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up/tear down of necessary equipment for streaming,
• Conducting in-game checkups to ensure streaming is running correctly,
• First point of contact for Presto services during home contests,
• Checking equipment routinely and advising for upgrades,
• Cleaning and proper maintenance of electronic equipment
• Assist department with needs.
• Ensure a clean and safe workspace.
• Attend all meetings and training sessions as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications as required.
• Knowledge of streaming and video equipment
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Customer service skills and etiquette
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to problem solve.

Minimum Qualifications & Education

• Current LSSC Student

• High School Diploma or GED
