Department Information

 

Executive Technology & Athletics Support

Job Summary

 

The Student Assistant will support the Department of Executive Technology and Athletics Support as a Student Technician on the Statesboro Campus beginning Fall 2023. 

Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.

Responsibilities

 

• Completes general technical tasks such as:
  • Sets up machines
  • Installs software
  • Troubleshoots Tier I issues
  • Provides technical assistance to Faculty and staff for computer software and hardware issues

Shift Specifics 

• Up to 25 hours per week
• Flexible with schedule of availability
• 4 hour minimum shift 
• Occasional availability on Saturday due to special events

Required Qualifications

 

Educational Requirements

• Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.

 

Proposed Salary

 

$10.00 per hour

_ This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis. _
