Athletics Events - Operations
The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 24 intercollegiate sports, comprised of 14 women’s and 10 men’s programs, that compete at the Division I level. The Scarlet Knights are members of the prestigious Big Ten Conference, the nation’s premier academic and athletic conference, after officially joining the league on July 1, 2014. Known as “The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory.
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Student Athlete Development Coordinator for the Athletics Events – Operations department.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Provides basic support in all areas of the Office of Student-Athlete Development and Success and the Scarlet Knights For Life program including career development and employer relations, community service, leadership development, Varsity R Letter winners Association, and Student Athlete Advisory Committee (
SAAC
).
Assists with events, programs, and workshops offered by the office, including diversity and inclusion programming in collaboration with
SAAC
and serves as a member of the Rutgers Athletics Inclusive Community Council.
Assists with managing tracking systems for letter winners and current student-athletes in various databases.
Assists with communication to the Big Ten Advisory Commission representative.
Provides support for Student-Athlete Advisory Committee including attending meetings in person and via web, preparing agendas, etc.

Immunization Requirements
