Provides support to the Assistant Director of Athletics & Recreation during all programs and events. Assists with daily office tasks which include: filing, sorting, copying, organizing, and delivering. The athletic aid will provide friendly and courteous customer service. All institutional safety policies and procedures will be enforced. Aids may also be required to assist with supervising recreational events and intramural sports.

Education and/or Experience Requirements
Applicants must have a GED or a high school diploma. They should have 1-2 years of work experience in a customer service-based setting. A general knowledge of sports rules, such as basketball, billiards, and table tennis, or a willingness to learn, is preferred.
Professional Skills
Candidate must have great customer service, organizational, and communication skills. It is important for the candidate to be assertive in this position.
Reasoning Ability
Candidate must have great communication skills, as well as, strong written and verbal skills. Must be team oriented. Computer software skills are vital.
Work environment and physical functions
Generally, an employee needs to be able to sit, stand, and navigate all necessary information in the athletic office and/or equipment room. An employee may also be required to assist with officiating or supervising daily intramural/recreation events.
