| Position Description Summary |
To assist in the responsibilities of the UNW Athletics department.
- To assist in the responsibilities of the UNW intramural in-season sports
- Aid in the set-up or take-down of athletic intramural sports
- Help maintain the condition of the court/athletic fields
- Abide by all University policies
STUDENT POSITIONS ARE OPEN TO INDIVIDUALS ENROLLED IN A MINIMUM OF 1 ON-CAMPUS TRAD COURSE (INCLUDING PSOC) AT UNW.

| Required Qualifications |
- Ability to interact with a variety of individuals in a professional, courteous and tactful manner
- Must have knowledge of basic rules and regulations of the sport you are working
- Must be responsible, reliable and aware of the importance of position and being on time
- Understanding of and agreement with University of Northwestern’s Declaration of Christian Community and Doctrinal Statement is essential

| Working Conditions |
Mental/Motor Demand Factors:
- Ability to demonstrate verbal reasoning, self-direction, personal grooming/hygiene, concentration, reading skill, writing skill and tact approximately 75% of the time
- Ability to demonstrate time awareness, math reasoning and independent action approximately 60% of the time
- Ability to demonstrate estimating skill, memory and problem solving skill approximately 35% of the time
Physical Demand Factors:
- Ability to stand stationary approximately 15% of the time, walk approximately 75% of the time and sit approximately 10% of the time
- Ability to demonstrate reaching, fingering and hearing skill approximately 75% of the time
- Ability to demonstrate stooping, kneeling, crouching and handling skill approximately 60% of the time
- Ability to lift, while stationary, up to 50 pounds and carry, while moving, up to 50 pounds
Environmental Condition Factors:
- Ability to work alone or with others or around others or with customer/public contact 100% of the time
- Ability to work with electrical equipment approximately 60% of the time
- Ability to work with noise approximately 35% of the time
Work Environment:
- The work environment involves working in a suburban, Christian university, a demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of the university and an agreement to abide by all university policies. Potential termination for intentional or repeated NCAA rules violations.
