Job Summary:
Student Athletic Training Assistant will assist in field set-up, rehabilitation, administrative duties and coordination of sports medicine coverage. They will also have direct patient care as a training room therapy aide. This is a temporary, non-benefit eligible, non-exempt position as defined by
FLSA
standards.
Specific Responsibilities:
Assist Athletic Trainers with day-to-day needs
Take 50-80 pound gallons of water to fields
Help with field setup for games and practices

Requirements
Position only available to current Susquehanna University students.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong Organizational skills
Ability to be around blood and sports injuries and manual dexterity for taping and bracing
Able to work long hours in a variety of weather conditions.
Education
First year, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior. All Majors.
Experience
No experience required.
Location
This student worker position is located on the SU campus.
Additional Requirements
This position is paid $8.50 per hour approximately 20 hours per week during academic year.
Must
be Federal Work Study eligible
Sunday through Saturday from 10 am to 9:00pm
Must have valid driver’s license
Physical Demand
Position requires the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
Position requires the ability to move about the campus.
Position requires the ability to talk and to hear instructions.
Position requires occasional manual dexterity and the ability to use fingers, hands, and arms to feel, handle, and reach.
Position requires occasional stooping, crouching, and bending.
Position requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
Working conditions are indoors and outdoors.
