Job Summary
This position will help in all aspects of making sure our intramural sports are running each night. Workers will be asked to set up/take down each field, referee, score/time keep and be on site for the entirety of whichever sport they are covering. You will be required to be there a half hour early for set up and you can end your shift once the playing field is clear.
This position will sign up for hours as they work best for their schedules. It is a first come, first serve schedule. We will be hosting Fall Sports: Co-Ed Flag Football & Co-Ed Soccer and then Spring Sports: Co-Ed Basketball, Co-Ed Softball & Co-Ed Sand Volleyball. This position is defined as a non-exempt position under
FLSA
regulations.
Specific Responsibilities
Setting up the playing field and taking down the playing field of sports
Refereeing each sport
Keeping score for each sport
Keeping time for each sport
Communication is going to be key for this position, to communicate with supervisor and co-workers
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Have a basic understanding of each of the sports offered.
Be able to be outside in cold & rain (thunder/lightening will delay or cancel sports)

Sophomore, Junior, Senior. All Majors.

Additional Requirements
This position is paid $7.75 per hour, with an estimate of 8 hours weekly.

Position requires the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.

Position requires the ability to talk and to hear instruction.
Position requires occasional manual dexterity and the ability to use fingers, hands, and arms to feel, handle, and reach.
