Job Description

Job Summary: The Football Video Operations Assistant supports the Delaware Valley University Division III Football program by filming, editing, and organizing practice and game footage. This position plays a critical role in the coaching staff's ability to review performance, develop game plans, and support student-athlete development. The role complements students' educational and career goals in areas such as digital media, communications, sport management, or related fields, consistent with Federal Work-Study (FWS) program requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Operate video cameras to film all football practices and home/away games from designated filming locations (e.g., press box, end zone tower, sideline).

  2. Edit and organize game and practice footage using video analysis software (e.g., Hudl, DVSP, or similar platforms) for coaching staff review.

  3. Upload, tag, and catalog video files in a timely manner to ensure coaches and student-athletes have access to footage for film study sessions.

  4. Assist coaching staff with the breakdown and exchange of game film with opposing teams in accordance with NCAA Division III and conference policies.

  5. Maintain, inventory, and perform basic troubleshooting of all video equipment, including cameras, tripods, tablets, and charging stations.

  6. Performs other job related duties in area of responsibility as assigned.

Education Employment eligibility:

1.    Currently enrolled Delaware Valley University student

2.    Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide required documentation to verify identity and employment eligibility (Form I-9)
