Description
Department:
- Athletics – Men’s Basketball
Reports To:
- Head Men’s Basketball Coach - Gabe Johnson
Position Summary:
The Team Manager provides daily operational support to the coaching staff and student-athletes. This position requires reliability, organization, professionalism, discretion, and a willingness to serve in all aspects of the program.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare the court, basketballs, clocks, water, and equipment before every practice and game.
- Set up and clean the locker room and bench area.
- Assist with practice drills, rebounding, timing drills, and keeping statistics as directed.
- Operate practice/game video equipment when assigned.
- Assist with uniform, towel, and laundry management.
- Maintain equipment inventory and report damaged or missing items.
- Help load and unload team travel equipment.
- Support recruiting visits and special events as requested.
- Complete other duties assigned by the coaching staff.
Expectations
- Arrive at least 30 minutes before scheduled team activities.
- Maintain confidentiality and represent the program professionally.
- Communicate promptly with coaches regarding schedule conflicts.
- Display a positive attitude and team-first mentality.

Time Commitment
- In Season: 15–25 hours per week
- Off-Season: As assigned for workouts, camps, and special events
Requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of basketball is preferred but not required.
- Must be dependable and able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel when needed.
