Position Summary

Central Arkansas Athletics is looking for a social media assistant to help with all aspects of creating content and running the athletic team’s social media accounts.● We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and experiment with the many different aspects of content creation. (camera work, editing, content scheduling, account management)● Must be open to trying new things and expanding your knowledge across all forms of content creation.● Assisting the Director of Creative Services with all creative initiatives and content for the department. Assisting in providing UCA Athletics with a strong online presence through web, social, and other media applications. Ensuring the Central Arkansas Athletics Brand is widely recognized and appropriately utilized. Assisting with producing online and print publications. Assisting the External Relations unit with special projects, special events, and other marketing initiatives. Assisting with the coordination, production, integration and distribution of all multimedia entities used within athletic venues.● Should be flexible enough to take direction and have initiative to run with ideas to impress the audience. ● May use a variety of desktop publishing, graphic design, web development and management and animation tools● Use available graphics and design knowledge to create infographics, presentations, proposals, and supporting graphics● Be willing to learn photography, videographer, editing or other content creation.● Ability to work most athletic events.● Other duties as assigned by Director of Creative Services

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Photography/Videography/Photo editing/Video editing are a plus but not required● Animation and motion graphic experience utilizing After Effects is a plus but not required.● Be willing to learn the ins and outs of working in an athletic social media department.
