Student Worker - Statistician

Must be a current Hastings College student in good standing to be eligible to apply. The main purpose of this position is to compile accurate in-game statistics per conference rules. This is important as we are required to report accurate stats following each contest to the opposing team and distribute to local and regional outlets. Statisticians will work between 6-10 hours per week during the school year depending on home athletic contests that are scheduled. Must be available to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Must be on time

• Must understand Presto and or StatCrew statistical systems (training available)

• Compile in game state accurately Skills and Experience:

• Need to have extensive knowledge of football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and softball.

• Willing to train on the Presto system as long as you have prior knowledge of the specific sport.

• No experience is necessary but must be willing to learn while staying focused and on the task at hand.
