Liberty University Athletics is seeking to hire a Flames Club Student Associate for the summer. The Flames Club team is responsible for all fundraising efforts for Liberty University Athletics. Flames Club members can enjoy preferred parking, seating, and game-day hospitality privileges, based upon membership level. The Flames Club team is also responsible for luxury suite sales and capital gifts for facility improvement, which serve to generate hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional revenue.
Assist with Annual Fund and other phone and mail campaign efforts.
Assist with basic office tasks – such as filing, collecting data, organization of materials.
Assist in sending mailers and communicating with former Letterwinners, donors, and potential donors.
Assist with planning and execution of member events.
Assist with preparation for game-day hospitality for fall sports.
Help manage assigned events as needed and directed.
Assist with fulfillment of member benefits and privilege, including priority parking and seating.
Assist with creation and implementation of strategies to reward donors and enhance the membership experience.
Assist with written communication initiatives, including editing of emails, brochures and other publications, the Flames Club website, and social media.
Assist with all other efforts, strategies and initiatives to ensure the successful operation of the Flames Club and increase financial support for Liberty University Athletics.
11.In support of Liberty University as an NCAA member institution, maintain understanding of and active compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations, and assist with donor communication accordingly.
The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate-controlled office setting. It is well lighted, and the noise level is moderate. Some outdoor activity will be required for home and away games, including in cold or inclement weather.
Use of one’s personal vehicle (or LU vehicles) is required for travel in the performance of the essential functions of this position. Proof of a valid Virginia driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, and liability insurance is required.
