Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Sports Administration or related field and two years related experience working with collegiate athletic program or equivalent combination of education and work experience. AEMA certification upon hire or obtain within one year of hire. Valid driver's license, must be insurable by University insurance carrier, employment physical, able to lift, carry and load equipment/boxes up to 25 lbs. required. Ability to travel and work nights, weekends and holidays required. The university offers market competitive salary and benefits.
Position Description:
The Athletic Equipment Supervisor reports to the Director of Equipment Operations and supervises the overall equipment operation of assigned sport(s) programs. Responsible for the effective supervision of staff, budgeting, tracking of inventory, distribution, collection, maintenance, fitting, laundering and repair of athletic equipment and ensuring that all protective equipment meets the National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment (NOSCAE).
