Job Description:
The Supervisor, Sports Medicine Operations will be responsible for managing day to day financial and business operations of the Sports Medicine Department of Intercollegiate Athletics including direct oversight of the Secondary Athletic Insurance Program.
The position will work directly with student-athletes but will also supervise staff athletic trainers and other employees within the sports medicine department. Assist the sports medicine staff in various other administrative areas as deemed necessary by the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Health & Wellness. This position will be responsible for maintaining a commitment to NCAA Rules and Compliance.

Job Description:
The Supervisor, Sports Medicine Operations will be responsible for managing day to day financial and business operations of the Sports Medicine Department of Intercollegiate Athletics including direct oversight of the Secondary Athletic Insurance Program.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education/experience/licensing:
• Must be certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association
• A minimum of a master’s degree in a related field
• 3 years post-professional experience is required
• Supervisory & Administrative work experience is required
• CPR certification
• Must be eligible for an Ohio Athletic Training License
Communication and other skills:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Flexibility in work hours/days
• Ability to function as a member of a sports medicine team
• Demonstrate professional and ethical behavior
• Able to manage, develop and lead a team of medical professionals
