This is a non-benefited supplemental stipend assistant coach position. This position is responsible for serving as an assistant coach to the women’s soccer program.

Summary/Objective

This position is responsible for assisting in the coaching of a national competitive NCAA II women’s soccer program, which competes in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.

Essential Functions

This position requires regular, predictable, reliable attendance in the office environment.

1. Coordinate and direct the assigned area of the soccer program.
   
2. Recruit quality student-athletes for the soccer team.
   
3. Develop and implement practice plans and game strategies.
   
4. Perform all other duties deemed appropriate for the position.

Physical Demands
Walk, stand, bend, lifts, and moves constantly during working hours. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and carry/transport an object/equipment that weighs 50 lbs.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a non-benefited supplemental coach position. Candidate will be required to work on Saturday – Sunday.

Travel

This job requires travel with athletic team to competitions and events. Some evening and weekend work will be required.

Required Education and Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree.
   
2. Knowledge of intercollegiate athletic rules and regulations.
   
3. Ability to evaluate physical performance related to intercollegiate competition.
   
4. Ability to work effectively with an ethnic, cultural and diverse student population.
