What We Want
The Team Administrator is responsible for assisting the Women’s Volleyball Program with administrative duties. Handle scheduling of tournaments and facilities, team travel arrangements, film exchange and tournament management duties.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of sports management, sport or team administration experience or coaching experience.
Preferred Education:

General volleyball knowledge.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities
SCHEDULING : Generates all contracts for tournaments and home events. Secures Head Coach approval of contract. Submit contract to the Director of Athletics for final approval and signature. Ensures rates paid for guaranteed games have been allocated within the sports budgets.
ON-CAMPUS RECRUITING : Organizes and administers all on-campus recruiting visits. Secures travel arrangements, including flights and hotel rooms (on-campus appointments and interviews will be determined by the coaching staff). Coordinates appointment and interview locations and times. Makes reservations for meals, tours, entertainment, and events. Ensures the appropriate compliance forms are completed prior to the initiation of all on campus recruiting visits.
TRAVEL : Sets up the season's travel itineraries. This requires a bidding process on buses, airline flights, and hotels. The itineraries are based on the competition time and consist of a flight, bus transportation, hotel reservations, practice time reservations, and any site-specific arrangements.
COMPLIANCE AND FINANCIAL AID: Responsible for preparation of all compliance paperwork and for serving as liaison to the Athletic Compliance group. Responsible for monitoring and calculating financial aid and scholarship values in conjunction with the Athletic Department financial aid personnel.
FACILITY MAINTENANCE: Ensures all maintenance issues are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner. Develops a maintenance and cleaning schedule for the facility. Submits work orders to the Athletics Facilities office as needed.
CAMPUS RELATIONS: Serves as the liaison to the Sports Information Director, Promotions Director, Business Operations staff, and other Athletics Department and University staff as needed.
PUBLIC RELATIONS: Arranges speaking engagements and publicity outings for the coaching staff and team members in conjunction with the Athletics Marketing staff.
FACILITY SCHEDULING: Assists the Athletics Department in developing policies, rental schedules, and rental fees for use of the facility by external groups.
COMPLIANCE: Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations. Establishes and ensures communication and enforcement of rules and regulations concerning student-athlete: conduct, appearance, road games, punctuality, and other areas as deemed appropriate.
