We are seeking a qualified Sports Dietitian to work exclusively with our Men's and Women's Swim & Dive teams for a 3-month period during the spring competitive season. This position will provide specialized nutrition guidance to enhance the athletic performance, recovery, and overall well-being of our student-athletes. They will report directly to the Director of Sports Nutrition.
Key Responsibilities
● Conduct initial nutrition assessments for team members
● Develop individualized nutrition plans tailored to designated sports athletes
● Provide nutrition education for pre-competition, competition day, and recovery
● Assist with hydration strategies appropriate for different training intensities and
competition environments
● Host weekly office hours for one-on-one athlete consultations
● Collaborate with the Health & Performance staff to integrate nutrition protocols with
training cycles

● Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
● Board Certification as a Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) preferred
● Hold a licensure in the State of Minnesota, or be able to acquire within 3 months of hire
● Experience working with collegiate or competitive track & field/cross country athletes preferred
● Strong knowledge of sports nutrition principles for endurance and power athletes
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
