The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 24 intercollegiate sports, comprised of 14 women’s and 10 men’s programs, that compete at the Division I level. The Scarlet Knights are members of the prestigious Big Ten Conference, the nation’s premier academic and athletic conference, after officially joining the league on July 1, 2014. Known as “The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory.
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Technical Coord. Audio/Visual Services for Football. Under the direction of the Head Football Coach, responsible for a range of duties related to the organization, implementation and maintenance of all aspects of video-related film work in support of the Football Program.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Coordinate and develop all technical functions assigned by the Head Football Coach
Technical Assistance for Coaches and other Staff
Coordinating the filming of Practice and Games
Video database management

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
- One (1) year of relevant experience, preferably at the collegiate level with the sport of football.

| Certifications/Licenses |
- Possession and maintenance of a valid driver’s license.
|
| Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Experience with XOs
- Excellent skills and experience in use of all types of cameras and video equipment.
- Computer literacy.

- Video database that stores all of our Football Team’s practice and game footage plus opponent game footage.
- Desktop computer hardware for approximately 26 video database interfaces
- Video projectors and screens for approximately 11 meeting rooms
- 6 digital cameras
- 3 hydraulic platforms used for filming that are rented seasonally
- Meeting room podium support.
- 125 Ipads with practice and game footage.

Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees, Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
