Washington Athletics has an outstanding opportunity for a Technical Coordinator for Volleyball to join their team.

About this Opportunity

The Technical Coordinator for Volleyball will be responsible for video, statistical, and analytic operations specific to the UW Volleyball program. This role is primarily responsible for gathering of video, data, and technical information for practice and competition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set-up and operate video and computer equipment for the Volleyball program. Manage videotaping of practices. Manage online practice and match video database. Digitize, edit and organize video footage using computerized editing systems, VolleyStation & Volleymetrics, for video scouting, breakdowns and presentations. Code and catalog all game plays and statistical data throughout the season. Coordinate with Athletics IT and video staff,and Hudl personnel for video support of home games. (65% of time)
  • Utilizing data, assist in creation of scouting reports with coaching staff for matches. Manage technical equipment on bench during practices and matches. (20% of time)
  • Produce high quality, technical videos and/or statistical analysis to assist in player development. (10% of time)
  • May work collaboratively with the coaching staff and director of operations and members of the Creative Marketing Team on the development and production of content for recruiting purposes. (5% of time)
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
