The Women’s Basketball Assistant provides support to the basketball coaching staff in the day-to-day operations of the program, including practice implementation, recruiting coordination, academic monitoring, and administrative tasks. This role assists in fostering a positive, compliant, and student-focused environment while supporting team success both on the court and in the classroom.
Support the coaching staff by assisting with practice planning, game scheduling, and team conditioning activities.
Assist in organizing and implementing practice plans and program activities as directed by the coaching staff
Support recruiting efforts by identifying prospective student-athletes and helping coordinate recruiting activities in alignment with University, NCAA, and Conference regulations
Help monitor student-athletes’ academic progress by communicating with coaching staff and appropriate University personnel
Participate in program and Athletic Department fundraising events and initiatives as assigned Adhere to and support compliance with all applicable NCAA, RMAC, and University policies and regulations

Working Conditions:
Requires weekend and/or evening work. Local, regional, and/or national travel is required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
0-1 year coaching experience, high school or college coaching preferred.
Valid driver's license with a driving record deemed insurable by University's insurer.
