The Ticket Office Associate works in a fast-paced university intercollegiate athletics ticket office serving customers by selling products and meeting customer needs through telephone support and personal interaction during over-the-counter sales. Should enjoy calling patrons to solicit sales, build rapport, and deal effectively with customer concerns. Requires excellent learning skills to acquire product knowledge to present information effectively, and accurately answer prospect’s questions. Assists in all areas of ticket sales, processing, and distribution. Needs current knowledge of telephone and computer systems including data integrity. This position reports directly to the Senior Director / Ticketing Operations.
Required Qualifications
Previous customer service experience in an academic or sales environment.
Knowledge of basic office computer software and hardware.
Ability to work accurately with attention to detail in a high-volume sales environment.
Strong verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills a must.
Commitment to diversity
Must be available to work M-F between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., as well as hours of events (weekends and some holidays).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Paciolan Ticketing Software and Salesforce.
