Ticket Sales- Account Executive

Department : Athletics Salary : Commensurate with Experience/Education

Description :

Support the revenue generation efforts of the Athletics Ticket Office area of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics through building relationships, first-class customer service and meeting defined revenue goals.

Ticket Sales

1. Meet daily KPI objectives via outbound cold calls, external events and face-to-face appointments.
   
2. Proactive approach developing new business opportunities through community engagement events.
   
3. Ability to create new sales leads through prospecting, networking events and referrals.
   
4. Exceed sales and revenue goals set weekly, monthly and yearly.
   
5. Understanding of Cougar Pride development and fundraising principles.
   
6. Develop an in-depth knowledge of UH Athletic ticketing products, sales policies and procedures.
   
7. Maintain accurate, detailed records of clients and prospects through Salesforce CRM system.
   
8. Work assigned sales team events both internal and external to create new sales opportunities.
   

9. Serve as spokesperson/ambassador for the Athletics Department and the University of Houston. At all times and in all settings represent the Department and University in a way that positively reflects and grows affinity for all things UH.

Ticket Retention

1. Meet daily KPI objectives via outbound cold calls, fan engagement events and face-to-face appointments.
   
2. Ability to build relationships with a book of business and retain season ticket holders at a high level.
   
3. Achieve set ticket sales and revenue goals on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
   
4. Identify potential opportunities to upsell or cross-sell seat holders to other UH Athletic Events.
   
5. Understanding of Cougar Pride development and fundraising principles.
   
6. Develop an in-depth knowledge of UH Athletic ticketing products, sales policies and procedures.
   
7. Maintain accurate, detailed records of clients and prospects through Salesforce CRM system.
   
8. Work assigned sales team events both internal and external to create new sales opportunities.

MQ: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Experience: Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience. Certification/Licensing: None.
