Description

Position Summary:

To perform administrative support duties related to ticketing for UAB Athletics. To manage ticket sales and distribution for UAB Athletics sponsored events, including sales of tickets, corporate ticket packages, group tickets and other ticket products for all home athletic events. To contact past customers and new sales leads to sell ticket plans for UAB Athletics. To provide superior customer service and to create opportunities for new business. To adhere to all institution, conference and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules and regulations. To report all known NCAA violations in accordance with institutional, conference and NCAA policies and guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sells season tickets, corporate ticket packages, group tickets and other ticket products for all home athletic events.
• Contacts past customers and new sales leads via phone, appointments and networking events to sell ticket plans for UAB Athletics.
• Achieves and exceeds weekly, monthly and annual sales goals
• Provides superior customer service to clients and proactively creates opportunities for new business with existing customers.
• Attends home games, on campus events, and community events driven to push ticket sales to UAB Athletics.
• Adheres to all institution, conference and NCAA rules and regulations and reports all known NCAA violations in accordance with institutional, conference and NCAA policies and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Salary Range: $15.00 - $16.00

Qualifications

Associate's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
