JOB SUMMARY:
The Office of Academic Support Services for Student-Athletes located in the Charles W. Doehler Academic Center for Excellence is seeking tutors for the 2024-2025 academic year. Tutors will work with students from our 14 intercollegiate sports teams in both individual and minimal group sessions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
One to one peer tutoring and counseling. Serves as a resource person to help other students academically. Tutors will adhere to Seton Hall University policies on academic integrity and community standards, in addition to the policies and regulations set forth by the BIG EAST Conference and the NCAA.

Tutors are sought in a variety of subject areas including but not limited to: business (all areas), mathematics (calculus, statistics), sciences (biology, chemistry, and physics), English, languages (German, Italian, French, Spanish) CORE 1101 & 2101 and the Humanities (History, Psychology, Sociology, etc.). Good communication skills, problem-solving skills, level of responsibility. Applicants must be at sophomore status and higher and provide a minimum of 10 hours of availability a week for appointments or drop-in sessions. This position is for current Seton Hall University undergraduate students only.
