Job Description:
The Undergraduate Financial Aid Assistant Director/Athletic Liaison for Financial Aid is responsible for correctly processing applications, determining eligibility, awarding and verifying of both institutional financial aid and federal/state financial aid for a population of undergraduate students including all athletes and students on endowed scholarships. Responsibilities include advising and counseling students on the availability of financial aid; managing a caseload of student files for the analysis and awarding of financial aid; monitor the progress and status of award applicants; plan and execute follow up procedures. Serves as a liaison between the athletics department, financial aid office, and student-athletes, ensuring that student-athletes understand and meet the financial requirements to participate in athletics while maintaining eligibility for financial aid.
