UMD Intercollegiate Athletics is searching for a Head Women’s Softball Coach. The incumbent is responsible for all aspects of instruction and the management of a comprehensive NCAA Division II Women’s Softball Program.

This incumbent will develop and maintain a competitive Division II softball program in a manner compatible with the department and University philosophy, and in compliance with NCAA and NSIC rules and regulations. They will supervise and evaluate the assistant coaches and staff, plan and oversee team practices, game preparations and scouting of opponents. They will be responsible for the oversight and monitoring of academic progress of student athletes and serve as an integral part of achieving fundraising, budget and community service goals. They will support the UMD Athletics mission of excellence in the Classroom, Community and Competition, while furthering the strategic plan of UMD.
