UCF Athletics - Women's Basketball
Position assists the head women's basketball coach with the management and direction of the nationally competitive women's basketball program, with emphasis on academic and athletic excellence.
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Actively engage in the day-to-day operations of video, multimedia, and coaching technolgy support for women’s basketball program;
Organize and breaks down film for coaching staff. Assist with video / film exchange with other programs within NCAA rules / regulations.
Direct collection of materials and manages recruiting database. Includes regular updates regarding prospective student athletes, recruiting trips, and schedules / tournaments (HS and AAU). Develop regular reports for coaching staff regarding prospects, statistics, and schedules.
Assist in all areas of recruiting. Includes travel itineraries, hotel accommodations, meals, timelines, cash advances / travel reimbursements, etc. as appropriate.
Assist Head Coach with research and analysis of scheduled and potential opponents.
Assist in implementation and operation of digital media coaching analysis tools and data acquisition and analysis tools in the scouting of prospects, current student-athletes, and opposing programs;
Plan and produce highlight and instructional videos as required by coaching staff;
Manage troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and/or replacement of video equipment;
Serve as a women’s basketball liaison to administration. Coordinate with coaching staff (as assigned) the collection and submittal of paperwork to various administrative units for processing (budget, purchasing, travel, recruiting visits, compliance, game day management, community service, and alumni / donor relations)

Assist the coaching staff with the instruction of players, teaching and skill development. ​
​Minimum qualifications:
Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years appropriate experience.Strong computer software (Microsoft Office) and video editing software, organizational / attention to detail and interpersonal skills preferred.
Due to the nature/scope of Athletics and Athletics events, position often requires work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Note: the person selected for this position will be employed by UCF Athletics, which is a Direct Support Organization (DSO) of the University of Central Florida.
