Position Summary

The Video Production Assistant assists in producing the live streaming and coverage of all home

UIW

athletic events. This includes the setup and takedown of equipment and producing a quality stream while incorporating all sponsorship assets. This position may also assist in shooting videos and editing for use by the Department of Athletics. The Video Production Assistant reports to Assistant Director of Brand Engagement.

This is a student position open to current

UIW

students who may be hired through the Federal Work-Study Program.

Essential Functions

Assist in production of streams for all

UIW

home events including football, baseball, basketball, softball, men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, swim and dive, and others as requested.

Assist with the video board and game entertainment for football and assisting with social media highlights and pre-production elements.

Assist in the production of additional

UIW

features as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

| Knowledge Skills and Abilities |
- Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work without supervision. - Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. - Knowledge of broadcast equipment and the structure of a live broadcast. - Exemplify a go-getter attitude and willingness to support the greater good of the team. - Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference and the NCAA. | | Required Education |
Current UIW student approved and eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study program. | | Required Work Experience |
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, video cameras, Tri-Caster, or 3 Play. | | Preferred Qualifications |
Experience in any of the following: graphic design, video editing, photography, audio technician, and/or camera operating. | | Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations |
