Volleyball First Assistant Coach

Salary Range:  $85,000 – $105,000 (USD) Annually

Position Summary

The Volleyball First Assistant Coach serves as a key leader within a nationally competitive NCAA Division I volleyball program, partnering with the Head Coach to advance competitive excellence, student-athlete development, and program success. This position plays a critical role in all facets of the program, including elite coaching, strategic recruiting, player development, operations, compliance, and program administration.

The Assistant Coach is entrusted with fostering an environment that promotes athletic achievement, academic excellence, leadership, and character development while ensuring the highest standards of integrity and NCAA compliance. As a visible representative of the Air Force Academy, the Assistant Coach is expected to cultivate meaningful relationships with prospective student-athletes, alumni, campus partners, and external stakeholders, helping strengthen the program's reputation at the conference and national levels.

This position requires exceptional leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to make meaningful contributions to the long-term growth, culture, and competitive success of the Cadet Athlete.
