Women’s Assistant Basketball Coach – Part Time

The assistant coach supports the head coach in managing the women’s basketball program. The
responsibilities include player development, game strategies, on-court practice drills, and helping to
foster a positive team culture.

Experience and Education requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1 year of school or club basketball coaching and /or playing experience
• Effective interpersonal communication and relationship skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of skills, techniques and game strategies
• Valid driver’s license and insurable by Brescia insurance

• Assist Head Coach with recruiting, practicing, team-travel, game strategy, fundraising, and player

management

• Actively support the head coach during games by monitoring opponent play, managing bench

logistics and tracing in-game statistics

• Assist with team conditioning, skill development and academic progress
• Adhere to Brescia University, River States Conference, NAIA and any other appropriate governing

body policies and procedures
