Summary:
The Director of Basketball Operations is responsible for assisting the coaching staff in various operational functions for a Division I Women’s Basketball Program. Specific areas of responsibility include coordination of all team travel, video/game film exchange, assisting with on campus recruiting events, office support, database management, coordinating facilities scheduling, supervision of student managers and practice players and performing game day non-coaching activities. The position also has the ability to engage in coaching activities.
Essential Functions:

Assist in the daily management of the Women’s Basketball program to ensure that day-to-day activities run smoothly.
Assist in organizing recruiting and team travel to away competitions and training, and operation of home contests.
Recruit and supervise student managers and practice players.
Assist the coaching staff in public relation duties in conjunction with broad-based athletic department activities for promotions and fundraising.
Other duties as assigned by the head coach.

Bachelor's degree.
1-3 years of relevant experience.

Strong oral and written communication skills.
