WOMEN’S JV BASKETBALL COACH – Part Time

The head JV coach position is responsible for player development, game strategies, on-
court practice drills and fostering a positive team culture. The coach will be responsible
for recruiting and developing student athletes as well as the overall success of the
women’s JV basketball program.

Education and Experience:

• High school graduate or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1 year of school or club basketball coaching and /or playing experience; collegiate

level preferred

• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable by Brescia insurance

• Effective interpersonal communication and relationship skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of skills, techniques and game strategies

Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Organizing activities, analyzing performance, and instructing student athletes in game

strategies and techniques;

• Conducting team practices and game travel
• Recruiting, practicing, team-travel, game strategy, fundraising, and player management
• Supervising team conditioning, skill development and academic progress
• Adhere to Brescia University, River States Conference, NAIA and any other appropriate

governing body policies and procedures
