Women’s Basketball Student Assistant
• Location: JD Morgan Center; 325 Westwood Plaza
• This is not a remote work position.
• This job is a Part-Time position; however, we are looking for a candidate to fulfill:
o 10-12 hours/week.
• This job/position is posted as Permanent; however, duration of appointment is contingent on
performance.
• The UCLA Athletics’ Women’s Basketball Office is looking for a candidate who can begin work

Women’s Basketball Student Assistant

• The UCLA Athletics’ Women’s Basketball Office is looking for a candidate who can begin work
immediately.
The objective of the position is to assist the women’s basketball staff in maintaining an
UNCOMMON culture that strives to create the best, most efficient working environment within
the WBB office. This position mainly includes office work that strives to simplify the day-to-day
operations of the organization. Student assistants will be given the opportunity to work closely
with the entire staff and throughout the process to continue their development in organizational
skills, written and oral correspondence.
Qualifications:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) preferred
• Strong research skills
• Familiarity with athletics, basketball knowledge is preferred, and general knowledge of
UCLA
• Work autonomously, multi-task, meet deadlines with demanding timeframes and pay
attention to details
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• Represent UCLA in a positive manner, as well as follow and adhere to University of
California, UCLA, NCAA, Big Ten, and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics’ rules and
policies
• Must be in good standing with the University academically and uphold True Bruin values
• Minimum requirement of 1 year available to work, potential for summer work
o Pay: $17.30/hour
