Alvernia University, located in Reading, Pennsylvania, is accepting applications for a Women’s Bowling Coach. This is a part-time position.
The Women’s Bowling Coach is responsible for managing all aspects of a newly-formed NCAA Women’s Bowling Program, including, but not limited to, recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes and preparing student-athletes for success through practice planning, strategy development, and skill instruction.
A Bachelor’s degree and successful experience as a student-athlete and/or coach is required.
The successful student-centered candidate will display a record of accomplishment “on the field” as well as “off the field,” having served as a mentor and coach to successful student-athletes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate and be able to communicate a commitment to the mission, core values, and goals of Alvernia University. Strong organizational, supervisory, and team-building capabilities are required.
