Job Description

Viterbo University invites applications for the position of part-time Women's Golf Head Coach. This position is a part-time, 10-month position. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the women's golf program while supporting the academic, athletic, and personal development of student-athletes.

The Head Coach provides leadership for all aspects of the women's golf program, including recruiting student-athletes, conducting practices, preparing for competition, managing program operations, and supporting academic success. The coach serves as an ambassador for Viterbo University by building relationships with prospective students, alumni, supporters, and community partners.

The successful candidate will be committed to developing student-athletes on and off the course while embracing the NAIA Champions of Character values of respect, responsibility, integrity, servant leadership, and sportsmanship. The Head Coach is responsible for promoting program success while ensuring compliance with University, conference, and NAIA regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and oversee all aspects of intercollegiate athletics team.
  • Recruit student-athletes to Viterbo University.
  • Plan practices, prepare team for competition, coordinate off-season training program.
  • Schedule competition, coordinate travel, and manage budget.
  • Monitor and foster academic progress of student-athletes.
  • Coordinate team involvement with community outreach or service projects.
  • Generate booster club support and assist with departmental fundraisers.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate assistant coaches.
  • Support and adhere to all institutional policies outlined in the employee handbook.
