Manchester University is seeking a passionate and dedicated Women’s Soccer Assistant Coach to help advance a competitive NCAA Division III program rooted in academic excellence, integrity, and student-athlete development. Reporting to the Head Coach, this position plays a vital role in recruiting, coaching, mentoring, and supporting student-athletes while contributing to the overall success and sustainability of the women’s soccer program. This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt position with travel and nontraditional hours required, especially in season.
What You'll Do:
Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of program leadership, including coaching, recruiting, retention, and team operations
Support the recruitment of student-athletes committed to both athletic and academic success
Monitor and support student-athlete eligibility and collaborate with campus partners to promote academic achievement
Help plan, organize, and conduct practice sessions and game-day operations
Assist with scheduling, travel planning, budgeting, equipment management, and inventory
Support fundraising efforts and alumni/advancement initiatives

Perform other duties as assigned in support of the athletics department
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Coaching and/or playing experience preferred; NCAA Division III experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and compliance
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate university vehicles
CPR/AED/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
