Grays Harbor College Athletic Department invites applications for the position of Head Coach for Intercollegiate women’s soccer team. Reporting to the Athletic Director, the selected candidate will be responsible for leading all facets of the women’s soccer program, ensuring compliance with athletic department, college, and Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) guidelines. The Head Coach holds the primary role in fostering a holistic collegiate soccer journey for student-athletes, emphasizing academic success, competitive athletics, and personal growth opportunities. This is a part-time, non-tenure position without benefits eligibility.

The team is scheduled to resume competition in Fall 2026 , and would not be competing this school year. The head coach will have the remainder of the 2025-26 academic year to recruit student athletes for the Fall 2026.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the soccer program, assistant coaches and student athletes in accordance with established conference rules and regulations including the oversight of all eligibility rules and regulations as established by the athletic department
  • Recruit student athletes following NWAC regulations and college guidelines
  • Assist the student success navigator with the monitoring of student athlete’s academic progress
  • Assist in the development of a competitive schedule in collaboration with the Athletic Director and in alignment with budgetary guidelines
