Women's Volleyball Graduate Assistant

Hastings College is looking for a Graduate Assistant for Volleyball in 2024-25 starting 11/6/2024. Hastings College is an NAIA program competing in the Great Plains Athletic Conference.  

Responsibilities and Duties:   

• Recruitment of academically and athletically excellent student-athletes  
• Mentorship of student-athletes  
• Practice design and on-court instruction  
• Organization of team travel  
• Video breakdown and analysis - familiarity with Hudl and volleymetrics preferred  
• Game day management

Candidates should be able to demonstrate strengths in the following areas:     

• Desire to pursue the profession of coaching collegiate volleyball or teaching  
• Organizational abilities and experience  
• Leadership abilities and experience  
• Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills  
• Abilities and experience using Word, Excel, and Google Docs.  
• Positive and diligent work ethic  
• Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience preferred   

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and a desire and ability to become accepted into our Masters of Arts in Teaching program in the fall of 2024. Graduate Assistant Position includes: tuition waiver, $5,000 yearly stipend, and potential for free on-campus housing.
