Head Coach, Men's and Women's Wrestling
The graduate assistant will assist the head coach and do the following:
Assist the head coach in all areas of managing the college’s wrestling team.
Assist in the coordination of recruiting efforts and manage a recruiting territory—this will include some travel.
Assist the head coach in the coordination of alumni relations and fundraising events.
Manage student-athlete academic schedules, study sessions, and closely monitor academic progress.
Assist the head coach in the coordination and management of practice and competition schedules.
Attend all wrestling practices and competitions as allowable within the academic calendar. Drive college vehicles as needed.
Assist in the management of social media platforms for the college wrestling team.
Assist in the creation and implementation of a detailed strength and conditioning program.
* Duties will correlate to the offered graduate programs and compliment coursework in the management, daily responsibilities, oversight, and student-athlete academic and overall well-being.

The required job qualifications include:
Accepted into an approved graduate program at North Central College.
Experience as a wrestler, coach, or athletic administrator.
Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification; or eligibility to become current.
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Able and willing to travel as needed, including nights and weekends.
The preferred job qualifications include:
Experience in collegiate athletics strongly preferred.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record strongly preferred.
20 hours per week during the academic year, excluding academic breaks
