SUMMARY OF POSITION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for assisting the Athletic Department Men’s and Women’s Rodeo Team with managing the stock and practice facility. Hours will vary based upon stock numbers living at the facility. Students should show a strong interest in agriculture with an initiative to learn.
Position Description & Details: - Feed practice stock morning and evening (team roping steers, roping calves, tying goats). Possible rough stock horses and bulls to feed in the future. - Move feed (big round bales, square bales, grain) to feed pens with skid steer. - Prepare the arena ground using the tractor and arena drag. - Water the arena if necessary to control dust. - Interact with students/staff/faculty you encounter. - Work events throughout the year, Willing to help with game day operations. Minimum Requirements: - Must be enrolled in at least 18 credits (a minimum of 9 in the Fall and 9 in the Spring terms) and maintain this status throughout the academic year. - Ability to attend BSC sporting events when needed - Ability to work scheduled event dates.
