Working with Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, the Assistant Coach supports the development and implementation of sports performance training programs for 24 NCAA Division II athletic teams plus cheerleading. This position requires completion of a nationally accredited strength and conditioning certification within six months of hire.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills to be a positive role model and representative of the university.

Responsibilities include:

  • Teach proper resistance and exercise training techniques
  • Design, implement, and monitor strength and conditioning programs (strength, power, speed, and agility) to meet the needs of each athletic team
  • Motivate athletes and coaches to achieve maximum potential in all areas of performance
