This position works with a wide range of on-campus programs and must not only adhere to university policies and procedures but also to NCAA and Conference rules and regulations.This position will provide counseling and mentoring to student-athletes regarding academic, athletic, career, and identify at-risk student-athletes. The long range impact of this position is critical in providing services which enhance the retention and graduation rates of the student athletes. The academic success or failure of student-athletes receives a great deal of public scrutiny and significantly impacts the University's reputation. The success of this position relies heavily on relationships with coaches, student athletes, faculty and staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree with one (1) year of experience in student advisement, mentoring, or education.
Or, Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in student advisement, mentoring, or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference given to candidates with higher education and NCAA Athletics experience.
