Under general supervision, this position will assist the Associate Athletic Director with accounting and business operations related items as assigned.
May act on behalf of the Assistant Athletic Director of Business Operations in their absence
Serve as the business office liaison to different athletic administrative departments and sport programs within the athletic department on business related items including but not limited to revenue and expense processing, accounting and general business inquires.
Maintain the department Concur Expense system by submitting expense, invoice, cash advance, and other requests via the system as well as approve expense reports.
Coordinate team and recruiting travel for specific programs as assigned and ensure proper university and department policies and budget guidelines are being met.

Maintain office files, documents, databases which pertain to risk management, camps/clinics, department policies, purchasing requests, and other spending items.
Assist in reconciling and auditing Ticket Office transactions including revenue reports, game settlements, and year-end ticketing reports.
Provide revenue and expense vs budget updates and reports regularly.
Recommends new and/or changes current policies and procedures to improve and maintain a high functioning athletic business office and improve internal controls.
Liaison for the summer camps, working alongside Compliance office to ensure they in compliant with all the NCAA and USF rules and regulations
Coordinate and maintain a fleet of Athletics vehicles.
Communicate student employment policy changes and assist staff in on boarding student employees.
Ensure that all athletic department, Office of Accounting and Business Services, University, WCC, and NCAA policies and procedures are followed.
Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director Business & Internal Ops
Qualifications:
Post high school education is preferred.
Training or experience equivalent to five years of increasingly responsible work experience in a senior accounting assistant/bookkeeping position required.
Previous administrative support experience required.
Experience working with high-level executive officers and/or vice presidents.
Able to work independently in absence of specific instructions.
Be able to handle and maintain confidential information.
Advanced experience working with computer database systems, word processing and spreadsheet software.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, and team oriented.
General understanding of University, WCC and NCAA bylaws.
