Manage a variety of daily activities to facilitate efficient operation of a multi-disciplinary Sports Medicine team: support the day-to-day operations of the office, prioritize and adjust workload to ensure timely accomplishment of administrative and logistical support functions, expedite and coordinate the delivery of clinical services.
Associates plus 2-3 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Associate degree and two years relevant work experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Understanding of insurance coordination and medical billing
Working knowledge of medical terminology
Strong organizational skills
Highly proficient with computer applications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Physical ability to work in dynamic setting including sitting, standing, walking, and climbing stairs
Bachelor’s degree
Two plus years of office experience in a related field, with high degree of autonomy
In-depth knowledge of office management practices and procedures

Key Accountabilities
| Description |
Coordinates with Dartmouth Student Insurance Office and Athletics on student-athlete insurance claims and reimbursements. Supports timely and cost-effective interventions by following up on prior authorizations, maintaining relevant demographic and clinical information, and records management.

| Description |
Supports administration of the department’s budget through maintenance of durable medical equipment and other clinical inventories. Assists with procurement of clinical supplies. Reconciles departmental expenses and payables and completes finance forms.

Assists with the operation of on-site medical clinics. Serves as a primary point of contact representing the department/office to internal and external medical providers, staff members, students and their families.

Assists with tasks related to recruitment, including travel arrangements, campus itineraries, expense reimbursement, and onboarding. Assists with data entry.
