Assistant to Head Football Coach & Assistant Coaches
Is the initial contact person for the entire coaching staff.
Fields and screens all phone calls forwarding the caller to the appropriate coach.
Prepares the preliminary paperwork for coaches travel —itineraries & advances – working with the coaches to collect receipts and compile appropriate documents for reimbursement in a timely manner.
Recruiting Support
Sending out mailings, emailing recruiting info, send out reply cards for incoming tapes as well as generic replies for general correspondence.
Manage recruitment materials – keeping track of inventory for questionnaires, reply envelopes, note cards, etc. and ordering refills as necessary.
Manage the process for filling out official visit forms: make hotel and meal reservations for recruits based on itineraries created by the coaching staff.
Assist with on campus visit appointments for recruits, preparing itineraries, name tags, and other documents such as recruiting host forms and preparing paperwork for recruiting advances.
Home Game Day Operations
May assist with recruits on official and unofficial visits by greeting and registering them, handling name tags, itineraries and assisting with facility tours.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Administrative work experience with an emphasis on providing exceptional customer service in an office setting or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Significant computer experience, including use of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and email software (Microsoft Office preferred).
Demonstrated experience organizing and prioritizing large volumes of work with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality; paying close attention to detail; meeting strict deadlines; and adapting to changing priorities while maintaining a positive, effective, and professional approach.
Education and Experience:

Physical Requirements:
Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and/or overtime on an occasional basis.
The person in this position performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks in support of the Athletic Department and its Football program. This person serves as an assistant to the Head Football Coach and the assistant coaches (10)
